Guidance Is all Around Us
I have been blessed with great teachers in the seen and unseen realms. They are here for us in every moment and eager to assist us on our journey. It is truly up to us to accept their help and invite them in.
You may see a pattern of speech that I use where I say "I am extending an invitation". That teaching came early on in my journey while in a ceremony. We had traveled to create a woman's retreat that we had done many times before. My teacher had set up the altar and shared with me that she was getting nothing from the benevolent beings that were connected to and guiding us. Our travels to the place that weekend were a little scary with the bad weather and being pitch black outside in the woods. We were a little frazzled when we arrived at our destination. Not good or bad just not in a clear/neutral space. By the morning it was getting a little sketchy because we were all there and it was radio silent with our guides.
What happened next will forever live in my mind and heart. When my teacher took some time away to get quiet and check in, she was told very clearly that they were not Invited in. We had set up the altar, but in our frenzy forgot the one thing, to actually Invite them in. They shared with us that they cannot communicate with us without invitation/permission as we live in a world with free will. As soon as we extended the invite all the energy rushed in and it was a beautiful weekend.
Wow what a teaching right? We are always asking the question a million times in our head, rarely ever getting quiet enough to hear the answer or to ask for help. We all have guardian spirits/animals/helpers who walk through this life with us and are eager to be of assistance. Our challenge/invitation is to become still, invite them in and act on their guidance.
Unfortunately, most of us feel alone in the world, as I did for a very long time, lone wolfing it and believing there was nothing and no one that would be able to or wanted to help me. I was caught in the victim/survival mentality. I had never been taught about these beings/angels that are here to be of help.
I am inviting you, to extend the invitation daily to whatever you choose to connect with that is a high frequency being to be along with you for the day. To get quiet enough to listen and open enough to receive. To remember to express your gratitude, and make a commitment to yourself to show up daily to be a guide for someone else. We can create the ripple/change we wish to see in the World.
Start each day with a conscious invitation to Spirit/God/Guides. Asking them to guide you and walk with you. To share what needs to be known or seen at this time and be open to receive the messages.
